I have decided to share my studies and enthusiasm for the teachings of

Sri Tirumali Krishnamacharya.

I will explain more about his life and legacy in due course..... suffice to say for now that he is acknowledged as a yoga genius, and the most influential teacher of our times.

These 60 min. sessions will be a combination of teaching and practice.

We will explore the deeper aspects of asana/pranayama/mudra/marma and visualization using

"General Practice Sessions"and"Life Saving Sequences"

from T. K.Sribashyam's book "Emergence of Yoga"

These practices are designed to elevate asana and pranayama to their rightful place as Dharana (concentration) and Dhyana (meditation) techniques, creating a direct link to the Divine.

I hope that exploring these relatively unknown practices will facilitate a flowering of beauty and potential in your practice and in your life.

My studies with Krishmacharya's long term students Srivatsa Ramaswami, A.G Mohan, and through lineage holder Stephen Brandon, Krishnamacharya's son T.K. Sribashyam, have opened my eyes to these more esoteric techniques largely lost in the transition to modern postural yoga.

Also these techniques were not manifested in the teaching of Krishnamacharya's most influential students, B.K.S Iyengar and Sri K. Pattabi Jois, from whom much of western yoga has evolved.

You will need to bring an open mind, and leave what you think you know at the portal to the cyberhive!
