(please note - not consecutive weekends, attending the 4 sessions required) Suitable for absolute beginners and re-starts.
Breathing, Postures, Meditation, Relaxation.
The emphasis in this course is on the foundation of a simple, yet effective yoga practice that you can integrate into your daily life. It will support mental and physical health through breath based awareness. On graduation you will have the confidence to join open classes. The physical practice will be adapted to the needs of the individual as required.
Please arrive in good time for the first class.
Please bring your own mat if you have one, we do have class mats you can use. However you will need to purchase your own mat for home practice.
Please wear comfortable clothing: Leggings/tracksuit bottoms and vest/ tshirt.
Do not eat anything for at least one to two hours before class, if you are hungry eat a piece of fruit.
Hydrate yourself well on the day of the class, drinking is not allowed during the practice.
